Pawternity

Recently I came upon something called Pawternity- Yes. It's exactly what you think it is. Paid time off if you're welcomimg a new puppy into your home.

Anyone who has experienced getting a puppy knows it can be hard work. Owners often refer to their pets as "fur babies," which makes a lot of sense considering how much attention puppies require when you first get them. I recently adopted a little fur baby of my own and although he's not a puppy, this sounds like a great idea. I hate to leave him.

Puppies need time to settle into their new home and bond with their owners. They've probably just been taken from their mothers and introduced to a brand new environment, so there's likely to be a lot of crying. And that's before you can even think about house-training.

There in fact several companies I know of that offer Pawternity, one being Brewdog. 8-)

What are your thoughts :?: Would you like time off to look after a new puppy :?:
